Hi Everyone!

6th Grade:  We finished the book by looking at patterns in the side lengths of triangles.  Students will be taking the end of book test on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week.  They have the book writing piece also due on Tuesday.  When we come back from Thanksgiving, we will be getting ready to start our third book, Bits and Pieces II.  In this book, we will focus on multiplying and dividing fractions.

7th Grade:  We worked on Order of Operations and the Distributive Property.  We will took a little extra time with this part of the book because the concepts are extremely important for the students to be successful in later years of mathematics.  However, we will finish the book by the end of the week and begin preparing for the Book Test on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving week.  This week students will complete the writing portion of the test.
